Ever since Joseph Chong joined AIA in 2017, he has qualified for Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) for four years. With great enthusiasm and keenness to succeed, he took the managerial path in 2020 and was promoted to a Financial Services Manager in the same year. His outstanding leadership has led him achieve the Top New Financial Services Manager title in his first full year as a new manager in 2021.

Joseph attributes his achievement to his high-performing team and his leaders, Kendrick Kwek, Jerald Tan, Evelyn Chung and Lee Xin En, who have guided and mentored him through his journey with AIA.

“Being in a leadership role today, I find myself putting in the extra effort to groom and train my consultants as everyone is different and different techniques are required to be engaged.”

Although many industries have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, Joseph believes in always trying and never giving up.

“Tough times never last, tough people do. Never let anything or anyone dull your sparkle.”

He shares that despite facing numerous adversities and uncertainties, staying positive and having an unwavering attitude will lay the strong foundation for his team to continue to grow and reach for their goals.
