This quote is a guiding principle for Kevin throughout his life journey. Entering the insurance industry at 21, after completing his National Service, Kevin’s early life was marked by challenges: the loss of his father to cancer, loss of a military scholarship due to injury and facing university tuition debts.

Despite these setbacks, Kevin persevered. His athletic background as a former competitive long-distance runner taught him to embrace pain, fatigue and disappointment with resilience, self-discipline and a determination to succeed.

Since graduating in 2016, Kevin has consistently achieved Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) status for eight consecutive years, qualifying for Court of the Table (COT) in 2022 and Top of the Table (TOT) in 2021, 2023, and 2024.

As a 7-time Pinnacle leader and one of AIA's youngest Financial Services Directors, Kevin leads a team of over 50 consultants. The pandemic in 2020 presented challenges but Kevin saw opportunities, quickly adapting to digital tools and leveraging AIA's support, leading his team to significant breakthroughs and growth.

In 2021, Kevin was the first runner-up for New Financial Services Director, followed by the first runner-up for Financial Services Director in AIA Singapore in 2022. His achievements culminated in 2023, with him winning the Top Financial Services Director title in AIA Singapore.

Kevin's advice to his fellow consultants is to "Go forth to achieve your breakthroughs, challenge the status quo and norms! There is no better time to strive for MDRT, COT, TOT than NOW!"
