With more than 35 years of industry experience, Tan Gim Cheong has been awarded the "People Developer Award" from the Singapore Productivity and Standards Board (PSB), the prestigious GAMA Master Agency Award and several Singapore Management Awards from the Financial Services Managers Association (FSMA).

In AIA, Gim Cheong is also an active member of AIA’s Agency Product, Life Operation, Digital and Healthcare Teams. He was the past President of AIA Agency Leader Management Association and currently serves as the Board of Advisor.

Being a believer in grooming people, Gim Cheong has more than 136 direct and indirect downline agency leaders. Together with their team of Financial Services Consultants and Life Planners servicing more than 50,000 individuals and over 1000 corporate clients.

Over the years, his district has also won numerous awards in Accident and Health, High Net Worth, Personal Lines and Corporate Solutions businesses. He was appointed as one of AIA’s few Master District Director in 2008.

He is proud to have groomed 18 Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) members and has been a consecutive Pinnacle Leader for the past 28 years since the Pinnacle Club was formed in 1995. Gim Cheong is recognised as one of the Top 11 Financial Services Director for 2022.
