Zilong's journey to becoming one of AIA Singapore's top financial consultants is a story of quiet persistence, steady growth, and unwavering dedication to his clients. Growing up in China before moving to Singapore in 2005 to pursue his secondary education, Zilong began his career as a Landscape Architect, where he developed a strong appreciation for discipline, structure, and long-term planning—qualities that would come to define his approach to financial advisory.

Introduced to the profession by an army friend, Zilong made a decisive career transition into the insurance industry in October 2015. Soft-spoken by nature, his strength lies in his ability to build deep, trust-based relationships. His journey began with roadshow canvassing, and over time, he successfully evolved his practice to one focused primarily on warm markets and client referrals—a reflection of the genuine trust his clients place in him.

His dedication to excellence is evident in his consistent achievements: five MDRT qualifications since 2016, followed by two Court of the Table (COT) and three Top of the Table (TOT) qualifications through to 2026. In 2025, he was recognised as First Runner-Up, Companywide Top Financial Services Consultant—a milestone that underscores his remarkable growth and client-centric approach.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Zilong is a devoted father of two children aged 4 and 10, and has served as a longstanding MDRT Ambassador for AIA Singapore since 2018. Driven by a genuine passion to serve, he continues to overcome personal limitations and push the boundaries of what he can achieve.
