Thomas Tan made a bold decision to leave his successful banking career in 2021 to join AIA at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. In just 16 months, he has achieved remarkable success, including qualifying for Court of the Table (COT), a Centurion member, and ultimately clinching the title of Top New Financial Services Consultant.
Thomas attributes his success to his proactive approach in constantly keeping up-to-date on world news and financial markets to better serve his clients' evolving needs. This key strength was particularly useful during the pandemic, when he took the initiative to learn and familiarise himself with the latest technological advancements so as to provide his clients with a consistent level of services during uncertain times.
Beyond that, he finds immense satisfaction from building rapport and forming friendships with his clients. By establishing such connections, Thomas is able to take a holistic view of his clients’ situations and plan the appropriate portfolios for them accordingly.
